The Second European Parkinson’s Disease Summer School for healthcare students, PhD students and junior professionals will be held in July 19th-27th 2010 in Ljubljana, Slovenia. The event combines: innovation in education, inspiration in research and teamwork in healthcare, with social activities and partying.

Our high stakes Summer School is hosted by University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Medicine.

The European Parkinson's Disease Association (EPDA) endorses this event and we have established sponsorship collaborations with various pharmaceutical companies and academic organisations.

The keynote lectures in our Summerschool will be done by a Parkinson expert, a  patient and a carer. Students will work in small multi-disciplinary teams to create a research proposal during the Summer School. The process is guided by peer trainers. The process outcomes will be quality assured by experts.

The number of participants is limited to 30, among them we need 6 medical students and PhD’s!
